National Tree Week

The end of November marks National Tree Week, and we are getting involved in the initiative by donating and planting a tree at a local school, Holy Family Catholic Primary.

The idea of donating the tree to a local school is to bring the community together in understanding the positive impacts that trees provide the environment.

Some of the benefits of trees include:

• Cleaner air 
• Reduce in greenhouse gases 
• Reduce in soil erosion 
• Protect the ozone layer
• Prevent water pollution
• Conserve energy
• Save water
• Provide habitats
• Protect ecosystems
