Our LUSH store opens up donation hub to support Ukraine

Our LUSH store, located on the first floor at Lower Precinct is acting as a donation hub to help collect items on behalf of Slovianka Polish and Ukrainian restaurant to help support Ukrainian people.

The local restaurant continues to take trips to the Polish border to distribute the items to help support Ukrainian people. They welcome as many items as possible to ensure they can maximize support during this unprecedented time.

The store welcome a variety of items from blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, towels, coats, warm boots, warm clothes, thermal underwear, gloves, tights, colouring books, crayons, toys, torches, batteries, candles, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, liquid soap, plasters and dressings, sanitary towels and nappies.

LUSH Store Manager, Stephanie Sansom explained “We have been overwhelmed by the number of donations made already and can’t thank the community enough for their kindness”.

Anyone wishing to donate can visit the store during their opening hours from Monday to Friday 9:30am–5:30pm, Saturdays 9:30am-6:00pm and Sundays 10:30am-16:30pm.
